Marugame Seimen developed an energy-saving boiling pot in 2019, and has installed it in approximately 450 stores to date (as of March 2025). This energy-saving boiling pot reduces electricity consumption by approximately 20% and water consumption by approximately 30% compared to a regular pot. In addition, by converting temperature management and salt concentration adjustment, which previously relied on employee experience, into data and automatically controlling them, it has become possible to optimize output and the amount of water added. The product won the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award, the highest award, in the Energy Conservation Grand Prize's Energy Conservation Case Study category.

As a model store for introducing renewable energy, the Toridoll Group has installed solar panels with a capacity of approximately 13 kilowatts on the roof of its Marugame Seimen Omiya Nishi store, which covers the electricity consumed by the store.
Additionally, Tokyu Land Corporation has introduced renewable energy at our head office in Shibuya Solasta.

The Toridoll Group has switched to LED lighting at its Marugame Seimen stores, which has a long lifespan, is mercury-free, and reduces CO2 emissions.
At the same time, we are pursuing both environmental impact reduction and customer comfort, such as increasing the lighting in our stores, to ensure that our customers can spend their time there more comfortably.
