External recognition of TORIDOLL Group's sustainability activities are as follows:
Toridoll Holdings and Marugame Seimen have established their own standards and are working to improve the environmental friendliness of their stores. One of these standards is that obtaining Eco Mark certification is mandatory for all stores.
Our efforts to comprehensively reduce resource use, such as energy and water, and waste generation at this store were recognized, and we received an Excellence Award at the "Eco Mark Award 2025" presented by the Eco Mark Secretariat of the Japan Environment Committee.

Toridoll Holdings has incorporated the acquisition of "Eco Action 21" certification, based on guidelines established by the Ministry of the Environment, into its environmental management goals. In fiscal year 2023, all Marugame Seimen restaurants obtained certification, and in fiscal year 2024, all "Tempura Makino" restaurants under Toridoll Japan's brand also obtained certification. In addition, in fiscal year 2025, all "KONA'S" restaurants and all "Butaya Ton-ichi" restaurants under Toridoll Japan's brand also obtained certification.
In obtaining certification and registration, we set targets for each applicable store, such as halving food waste and discharge and improving the food recycling rate, and we report our efforts annually in an environmental management report. We will continue to work on further initiatives to increase the number of certified stores in the future.

This award recognized Toridoll's efforts in Sanuki Hiroshima (a common name for Hiroshima), an island in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, with which the company concluded a comprehensive regional revitalization partnership agreement in 2022.
Sanuki Hiroshima faces challenges of population decline and an aging society, and one of our employees has relocated to the island to work on island development. We made a donation using the local revitalization support tax system (corporate version of hometown tax) in fiscal year 2022, and Marugame City used the donation as the source of funds to renovate and reopen the Enoura Port waiting area, the gateway to the island, in January 2024. A new rooftop terrace offering views of the beautiful islands of the Seto Inland Sea and a restaurant called "Minato no Pizza-ya-san" serving handmade, freshly made pizzas have been added, creating a key station that offers unique Sanuki Hiroshima experiences and serves as a hub for interaction between local residents and people from outside the island.
